Finance Business Partner

Our client is seeking a Finance Business Partner with a foundation in accounting and a passion for turning numbers into actionable business decisions. This role sits at the intersection of accounting, analytics, and business partnering, delivering insights that drive performance across the organization.

Reporting into the Finance leadership team, you will take ownership of reporting, forecasting and planning, while partnering closely with operational and commercial leaders. This is an opportunity for a management accountant or finance professional to evolve into a commercial role, leveraging your accounting expertise to influence business strategy and decision-making.

What you'll be doing...

Month-End Reporting: Deliver timely month-end close and accurate financial statements.

Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead bottom-up budgeting and forecasting aligned with operational and commercial goals.

Performance Analysis: Monitor results versus budget and forecast, providing clear, actionable insights to support decision-making.

Business Partnering: Collaborate with leaders across Sales, Operations, and Support functions to highlight key metrics and drive performance.

Commercial Analytics: Identify trends, highlight improvement opportunities, and support pricing, cost analysis, and margin management.

Reporting & BI: Leverage ERP systems and BI tools (Power BI preferred) for predictive insights and real-time decision-making.

Process & Governance: Drive continuous improvement, enhance reporting efficiency, and champion best-practice financial governance.

You will bring a...

Recognised degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA/CA (or progressing).

Previous experience in FMCG or manufacturing is essential.

Ability to translate financial data into strategic insights.

Experience in automation, system enhancements, or reporting efficiency initiatives.

ERP experience (SAP preferred), Power BI, and advanced Excel skills.

Strong cross-functional relationships with excellent verbal and written communication.

Self-motivated and flexible to changing business priorities.
