genU is looking for a Business Partner - SDA Partnerships, Affordable Housing and Capital to join our Property and Fleet team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing relationships with SDA partners and supporting the planning and delivery of new SDA projects.

Our Property and Fleet team oversees genU’s owned and leased properties and vehicle fleet across Australia, ensuring the right infrastructure is in place to deliver high-quality services to our clients.

What you’ll do

Lead the engagement and establishment of productive partnerships and collaborations with existing and potential SDA providers;

Monitor and respond to tenancy risks, breaches, or incidents involving SDA participants in genU listed properties;

Maintain documentation for NDIA audits, property certifications, tenancy agreements and external SDA provider compliance;

Ensure compliance with NDIS and SDA design standards and regulations;

Work with genU procurement department to develop tenders for various national contracts where appropriate;

Manage tenancy allocations, rental agreements, and ongoing tenancy matters for affordable housing stock.

What you’ll bring

Strong knowledge of the property management industry and associated legislation;

Demonstrated understanding of construction industry contracts;

Proven experience in domestic construction and commercial fit‑out coordination and management;

Demonstrated ability to read and interpret architectural and consultant drawings;

Proven capability to foster a culture of continuous improvement and deliver effective business outcomes;

Highly developed interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills;

(You’ll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate – but don’t worry, we’ll help guide you through this.)

Certificate IV in Building and Construction or similar.

Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice or higher.
