Job Description
A highly skilled Principal Civil Engineer with proven experience working within the local region, with the ability to leverage your existing networks and connections to expand the client portfolio. You will play a key role in generating new leads and securing projects, ensuring continued growth and success for Southeast Queensland office.
You’ll provide strategic leadership and technical expertise across a diverse portfolio of civil infrastructure projects, including:
Urban Development and Subdivisions
– creating vibrant communities
Stormwater and Flood Mitigation Solutions
– protecting environments and assets
Water & Sewer Systems
– ensuring reliable essential services
What You'll Do
Oversee and sign off on complex design packages and technical documentation
Provide high-level technical guidance and strategic input across all project phases
Lead project delivery from concept through to completion, ensuring quality and compliance
Manage and mentor a team of engineers, designers & drafters, fostering professional growth and collaboration
Engage with key stakeholders and clients to maintain strong relationships and deliver outcomes
What You'll Bring
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
Chartered status (CPEng, RPEQ, or NER)
Minimum 8 years of civil engineering experience, including 5+ years in a consultancy environment
Proven ability to manage large-scale, multi-disciplinary civil projects
Strong leadership skills with experience in team management and development
Expertise in roads, subdivisions, stormwater, water, and sewer projects
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to review complex technical reports
