Job Description

The Head of Product leads the end-to-end product lifecycleโ€”from strategy and discovery through to development, regulatory readiness, launch, and post-market iteration. This role is responsible for shaping our product vision, orchestrating cross-functional delivery, and ensuring commercial success while meeting customer, regulatory, clinical, and quality requirements.

This is a hands-on leadership role suited to a product manager with demonstrated experience scaling teams, processes, and product lines in a global and regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

Define and own the multi-year product strategy, roadmap, and portfolio aligned to company objectives.

Translate market insights, customer feedback, clinical needs and business priorities into clear product requirements and prioritised action plans.

Build and scale the product organisation, including product management, UX/design, market analysis and clinical research.

Oversee the full lifecycle of device + software solutions including ideation, prototyping, testing, regulatory readiness and release.

Product Development & Delivery

Lead cross-functional collaboration to deliver hardware and software releases.

Drive discovery, requirements definition, and prioritisation using structured frameworks compliant with our ISO and regulatory certification standards.

Ensure product decisions are data-driven, customer-centred, and clinically validated.

Regulatory & Quality Compliance

Partner with all business teams to ensure design, research and risk processes are documented, compliant and audit-ready.

Oversee integration of regulatory and medical device standards into product development (e.g., ISO 13485, ISO 14971, IEC 62304).

Champion a culture of risk management and compliance aligned with delivery priorities and a customer centred focus.

Commercial & Go-to-Market

Collaborate with cross functional team members to lead product launch planning, drive product positioning and pricing.

Undertake competitor analysis and drive market adoption strategy.

Support team members and stakeholders with product training, value propositions, and competitive insights.

Act as the voice of the customer across the organisation.

Build strong relationships with key customers, clinicians, channel partners, and stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience

10+ years in product management, including experience in medical devices, digital health, or regulated technology industries.

Demonstrated success scaling product teams and processes in a fast-paced or high-growth environment.

Experience with both hardware and software product lines.

Proven ability to translate complex technical and clinical requirements into commercially viable products.

Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Understanding of medical device regulations (e.g.,TGA, FDA, UKCA).

Background in engineering, biomedical sciences, or human-centred design.

Experience with clinical studies, post-market surveillance, and evidence generation.
