Senior OHS
Consultant
and make a real difference in helping organisations create safer, healthier workplaces across diverse industries.
Reporting to the National Practice Leader, you'll deliver expert OHS consulting services, partnering with clients to design and implement tailored safety solutions that fit their unique needs. You'll work alongside a talented, positive, and driven team of safety professionals in a supportive, goal-oriented environment.
A day in the Life
Build and improve OHS management systems, from developing policies, procedures, and risk strategies to delivering engaging training sessions
Carry out audits, risk assessments, incident investigations (including serious incidents), and psychosocial risk reviews
Use client OHS platforms to manage safety data, documents, and records effectively
Collaborate with clients, regulators, legal teams, and other stakeholders to drive better safety results
Travel to client sites to understand their challenges and provide hands‑on support
Work with team budgets to plan and deliver projects efficiently, ensuring resources are allocated wisely for maximum safety impact and value

We're looking for someone with
A Bachelor’s degree in OHS, Organisational Psychology, or a related field (or a postgraduate qualification in OHS)
Solid experience as a Safety Consultant or in a similar advisory/project leadership role
Deep knowledge of Australian WHS/OHS legislation, modern safety practices (hazard management, incident investigation, risk assessment, training & engagement), and workers' compensation impacts
Strong track record in leading OHS projects, developing strategies, and motivating teams
Strong knowledge and understanding of Work Health and Safety and Occupational Health and Safety legislation
Lead Auditor qualification or working towards Exemplar Global registration
Additional certifications or coursework in safety-related disciplines (such as Auditing or Occupational Hygiene) will be advantageous
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office
Great organisation, time management, and the ability to deliver under pressure during busy periods
