About the role
We are seeking an experienced
Project Director
to lead the delivery of a major gas processing facility. This is a senior leadership role with full accountability for safety, commercial outcomes, schedule, quality, and client relationships across the entire project lifecycle — from ECI through construction, commissioning and close‑out.
Reporting into executive leadership, you will provide strategic direction to the project team, oversee the Project Manager and key discipline leads, and ensure the project is delivered safely, profitably, and in line with contractual and client expectations.
The role will commence during the ECI and early delivery phase in our Brisbane office before transitioning to a site‑based roster during construction. Accommodation and meals will be provided while on site.
Key responsibilities
Provide executive leadership and governance for the delivery of a major gas processing facility, from ECI and detailed design through construction, commissioning and completions.
Ensure safe, on‑schedule and commercially successful outcomes, maintaining strong HSE performance and compliance with contractual and governance requirements.
Lead and mentor the Project Manager and senior leadership team to drive high performance, accountability and delivery excellence.
Oversee complex mechanical and electrical scopes, including construction methodology, systems integration and operational readiness.
Drive commercial performance through effective budget control, risk management and EBIT achievement, while maintaining strong senior‑level client relationships.

You are a seasoned project executive with strong leadership presence, sound judgement and the ability to operate confidently at both strategic and operational levels. You thrive in complex, high‑risk environments and align people, performance and governance to achieve successful outcomes. Your leadership style promotes safety, accountability and high performance, and you build trusted relationships with clients and senior stakeholders.

Demonstrated experience as a
Senior Project Manager
or
Project Director
delivering high‑value
oil & gas
or major
energy
infrastructure projects.
End‑to‑end accountability for
project delivery
across
ECI, construction, commissioning and completions .
Strong background in
mechanical and electrical disciplines .
Excellent
commercial, contractual and stakeholder management
capability.
Flexibility to work on a
site‑based roster
during construction phases.
