Senior Control Systems Engineer – Lead Innovation at Alliance Automation
Join our Brisbane Head Office and take the lead in delivering advanced automation solutions across complex, high-impact projects. This is your opportunity to drive innovation, shape outcomes, and grow with a team that values excellence.
Your Role
Collaborate with clients to define project scope and technical requirements
Lead the full lifecycle of control system design, development, and commissioning
Ensure project delivery meets stringent safety, quality, and performance standards
Provide expert technical guidance and foster long-term client partnerships
Champion a proactive HSEQ culture across all engineering activities
What You Bring
5+ years’ experience in control systems engineering (heavy industry preferred)
Strong communication skills and ability to simplify complex technical concepts
Proven expertise in automation platforms and industrial communication networks
Current Australian driver’s licence
Preferred Credentials
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
Hands-on experience in programming and commissioning control systems
Strong leadership and problem-solving capabilities
Safety-focused mindset with a drive for continuous improvement
