About The Role And Team We have a new opportunity for an experienced workers' compensation Senior Associate or Special Counsel to join our rapidly growing Insurance practice, based in our Darwin office. The Insurance WA team is a defendant insurance legal team, working across Statutory Insurance matters, including workers' compensation, recoveries and compulsory third-party matters. Our Insurance WA team has approximately 90 people located across Darwin, Perth and Adelaide. This is a fantastic hands-on role, with significant learning, development and progression opportunities, and the opportunity to work closely with interesting clients and alongside highly regarded partners and lawyers.

About You You will ideally have the following skills and experience:

at least 5 years of post-admission experience within Workers' Compensation;

ideally you will have experience on the defendant side, however we will also consider candidates with a plaintiff background who are keen to move into a defendant practice;

a genuine interest in contributing to the growth and success of our insurance practice in Darwin;

clear, concise legal writing skills; and

strong attention to detail.
