This role is offered as a full time contract of up to 16 months to cover a period of Parental Leave. Sweat is a supportive and flexible workplace and the role can be fully remote, or hybrid from our offices in Adelaide or Melbourne.
This is a senior leadership position with full ownership of Sweat’s end-to-end acquisition strategy across paid social, search and digital advertising channels, including Meta, Google and Apple Search Ads.
You will own commercial performance across these channels, delivering the optimal mix of leads and revenue while maximising ROI, CAC and lifetime value.
You’ll operate at both strategic and hands‑on levels, shaping long‑term investment strategy while maintaining strong executional oversight across key channels.
As a member of the Leadership Team, you’ll contribute to enterprise strategy, forecasting and capital allocation decisions, ensuring performance marketing is tightly aligned to revenue, margin and growth objectives.
What you’ll be responsible for.
Acquisition & Commercial Performance
Define and execute acquisition strategy across App and Web
Optimise key KPIs including Cost Per Trial, ROAS, CAC and LTV
Allocate and manage multi-channel advertising budgets
Lead experimentation frameworks and unlock scalable growth opportunities
Evaluate and test new channels aligned to commercial goals
Oversee affiliate strategy for scalable customer acquisition
Lead promotional campaign performance while protecting margin and brand positioning
Maintain compliant, data-driven tracking and attribution frameworks
Partner cross-functionally with Product, Data, Creative, CRM and Commercial teams to optimise the full acquisition and retention funnel
Present weekly and monthly performance insights to the Leadership Team
Contribute to enterprise strategic planning and investment decisions
Pressure-test commercial investments and ensure disciplined ROI thinking
Provide competitor and industry insights to inform strategic decisions
Build, mentor and lead a high-performing performance marketing team
Foster a culture of experimentation, accountability and continuous optimisation
Coach and develop team members in line with Sweat’s development philosophy
Plan and allocate resources to ensure objectives are achieved
About You
Significant experience in a similar senior performance marketing role
4–5+ years in acquisition, paid media, eCommerce or digital growth
Proven leadership experience building and leading high-performing teams
Deep hands‑on expertise across Meta Ads, Google Ads and analytics platforms
Strong commercial acumen; comfortable managing large budgets and forecasting ROI
Advanced analytical capability and confidence interpreting complex datasets
Experience running structured experimentation frameworks (A/B testing, incrementality, etc.)
Ability to manage multiple high-impact initiatives simultaneously
Tertiary qualification in marketing, business, computer science, mathematics or statistics
Experience with advanced marketing automation platforms and attribution tools is highly regarded.
