Desirable attributes include analytical problem‑solving skills, a solid understanding of mining systems, proficiency in project management tools and a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget, alongside effective leadership and stakeholder management abilities.
This role is ideal for an engineer who thrives in front‑end project definition, studies and value optimisation prior to execution. The candidate will be responsible for driving FEL studies, conducting and managing trade‑off studies (including mining, ventilation and processing), coordinating multi‑disciplinary engineering inputs, overseeing estimate development and preparing strong business justification and strategy documents to enable informed investment decisions.

Facilitate workshops such as multi‑criteria analysis, risk reviews, constructability, operability/maintainability and options assessments.
Ensure alignment with internal project governance frameworks and FEL requirements as per the AACE and AusIMM guidelines.
Prepare high‑quality reports, presentations and submissions for senior leadership and client stakeholders.
Support handover of study outcomes into subsequent study or execution phases.
