Originating and executing new infrastructure investment opportunities

Permanent role ideally based in Melbourne or Sydney

Your New Role Real Assets incorporates unlisted real asset portfolios including Infrastructure and Property.

The Real Assets portfolio involves the ongoing pursuit and management of infrastructure & property investments within targeted sectors across global developed markets (Australia, North America and Europe).

The Investment Director, Infrastructure - Real Assets will play a leading role in the implementation of the Real Assets Portfolio Strategy by taking significant responsibility for end-to-end infrastructure investment management and people leadership in the Australian Real Assets team.

Key broad responsibilities include:

Originating and executing new infrastructure investment opportunities that meet the guardrails of the Real Assets Strategy and portfolio construction framework;

Leading and executing investment processes, supporting and mentoring less experienced team members through this work and playing an active role in fostering key adviser and industry relationships;

Driving operational improvement across the portfolio, deploying asset class insights, commercial experience and strategic capabilities to drive value creation efforts.

What You'll Need

Significant experience working in an infrastructure investment management capacity (either as an investor or advisor) in private markets;

Strong asset class expertise in infrastructure with the potential for further sector specialisation;

Demonstrated transaction execution;

Strategic and creative thinking skills;

Ability to accurately identify key investment issues and effectively communicate them within the team and to approval committees;

Strong quantitative financial modelling skills; and

Advanced use of MS Office products especially Excel.
