Chief Executive Officer (CEO) The Company Our client is a leading, vertically integrated agricultural enterprise with extensive operations across ANZ. The business encompasses large-scale farming, innovative solutions, and sustainable farming practices that feed communities and support global supply chains. With a strong legacy and ambitious growth plans, they are seeking an exceptional Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the company into its next era of innovation, productivity, and profitability.

Position Overview As CEO, you will be the strategic and operational leader of the business, responsible for setting vision, driving performance, and building a culture of excellence. Reporting to the Board of Directors, you will oversee all facets of the operation—from farm and supply chain to finance, people, and customer. This role requires a seasoned executive with deep agricultural knowledge, commercial acumen, and proven leadership in large, complex businesses that has an appetite for M&A.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the development and execution of the company's long‑term strategy, with a focus on sustainable growth and operational efficiency.

Oversee large‑scale farming operations, ensuring optimal productivity, quality, and environmental stewardship.

Build and maintain a high‑performing executive team and foster a culture of accountability, safety, and innovation.

Drive financial performance, manage capital investments, and ensure profitability across all business units.

Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders, including investors, partners, regulators, and the broader agricultural community.

Embrace and implement agri‑tech advancements and data‑driven decision‑making to enhance operational capabilities.

Your Background

Proven track record as a CEO, MD, or senior executive in a large agricultural, agri‑business, or supply‑chain‑driven environment.

Degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Business Administration, or related field (MBA or advanced degrees a plus).

In‑depth understanding of commercial farming, agricultural economics, and integrated supply chains.

Strong strategic vision, with the ability to scale operations and navigate complex market dynamics.

Financial acumen and experience managing multi‑million dollar budgets.

Outstanding leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Passion for sustainability, innovation, and the future of agriculture.
