Look forward to working with Australia’s leading and most trusted provider of Employee Management Services, making the benefits of salary packaging, novated leasing, and fleet management readily available to employers and their employees.
Working at Smart offers more than a job. It is a dynamic workplace that matches the enthusiasm for the work you do and ambition for an exciting fast‑paced career. We have all been hired for a purpose and a reason.
Every day you will be part of a team that helps support fellow Australians - many working in essential services, corporates, government, and not‑for‑profits - to take home more money in their pay packets.
Do you have what it takes to become a Finance Business Partner?
We’re looking for a thoughtful, commercially minded FP&A professional who enjoys bringing clarity to complexity and helping teams make confident, informed decisions. In this role, you’ll guide our forecasting, explore pipeline trends, and translate insights into actions that support revenue growth and strong performance. You’ll work closely with senior partners, offering clear, data‑informed advice through robust financial modelling and meaningful business partnering.
You’ll bring deep FP&A experience, advanced insight‑focused capability and a natural ability to build strong relationships across the business. If you love turning complex data into clear, impactful stories and partnering with others to support results, this role is an exciting opportunity to shine.
Responsibilities:
Explore the Novated Leasing pipeline to uncover trends, conversion patterns and risks, translating insights into meaningful impacts on forecasts, budgets and in‑year performance.
Lead monthly forecasting and revenue outlook, ensuring assumptions are accurate, guided by data and aligned to operational performance, sales pipeline trends and strategic priorities.
Deliver timely, accurate financial and operational reporting, with insights across revenue, margin, customer activity and key drivers that support commercial decision making.
Review monthly financial and operational performance for the Novated Leasing business unit, aligning teams on KPIs, addressing operational challenges and guiding actions that boost growth and profitability.
Act as a trusted commercial partner, supporting senior team members with financial modelling, scenario analysis and collaborative business partnering to inform pricing, investment and growth strategies.
What you’ll bring:
5+ years’ experience in FP&A or commercial finance, with strong exposure to budgeting, forecasting and insight‑informed decision making.
Professional accounting qualification (CA/CPA or equivalent); background in a top‑tier or mid‑tier accounting firm viewed favourably.
Confidence partnering with senior partners, influencing outcomes and supporting change through collaboration and thoughtful insight.
Strong capability working with complex, high‑volume data and translating it into clear commercial recommendations.
A strategic mindset, strong problem‑solving skills and a natural curiosity for uncovering what drives performance.
Resilience and strong organization skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver under pressure.
Advanced MS Office and analytics capability, including Excel, PowerBI and PowerPoint.
W hat’s in it for you?
