The Role
Generates specialty map products on mining industry activity and commodity distribution.
Provides geoscientific advice within their field of expertise to internal and external customers.
Records workflow data and reports to manager as required.
Tracks industry activity by compiling and editing the Mines and Mineral Deposits (MINEDEX) database and other corporate mineral-oriented databases.
Accountable to manager for meeting agreed quality, quantity and time targets and use of resources.
Qualifications & Licenses
Bachelor of Science (Geoscience) or an approved equivalent degree.
Relevant post-graduate qualification(s) and eligibility for Membership to the Australian Institute of Geoscientists (AIG) or Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (AUSIMM) would be an advantage.
