Our client is seeking an experienced Dentist to locum within their Northern NSW public health clinic, based in the Byron Bay region. The locum role has a flexible start from early February 2026, for a minimum of 4 weeks or longer. This is a great opportunity to travel and support regional communities with their oral health care needs.

The clinic is based in the Byron Bay region, just a 2-hour drive south of the Gold Coast, giving you the chance to explore this popular coastal destination on your days off.

You may be required to work as a sole clinician at times, so you must be confident to work autonomously and ideally have previous public health experience.

Locum Dentist role within a Northern NSW public health clinic

Byron Bay region - clinic based a 2-hour drive south of the Gold Coast

Flexible start from early February 2026

Minimum 4 weeks locum or longer

Monday to Friday each week (40 hours)

All general dentistry, extractions, and emergency procedures

Sole clinician at times, with support available from other clinics across the region if needed

Accommodation and return travel provided

$100-$105 per hour + super, based on your experience
