About therole
We are seeking aClinical Lead - Case Conferencing Facilitatorto join our team atAshley Youth Detention Centre (AYDC) permanently. This role is central to coordinating andfacilitatingconferencing processes for young people in custody.You’llsupport reintegration efforts, contribute to case management, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver consistent and effectivesupport tothe Young People at AYDC.
We’relooking for someone who brings
Proven ability tofacilitateconferencingprocesses, casemanagementand/or therapeutic interventions, particularly in contexts involving behavioural challenges or conflict resolution,
Post-graduate experience in a relevant allied health discipline (e.g.social work,psychology,counselling,occupational therapy, or similar),
Sound understandingor ability to quicklyacquireknowledgeofyouth justice legislation, national standards, and trauma-informed practice.
Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills,includingskillsinde-escalation, active listening, and collaborative decision-making.

Condition ofemployment
Salary $123,717 to $134,336 per annum + 6.5% Corrections allowance + Super
Award/ Agreement:Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Union Wages Agreement
Ability to obtainor already have a currentRegistration to Work with Vulnerable People (Employment Status) – Tasmania.
A tertiary qualification approved by the relevant National Board and eligibility for membership with the relevant National Board or professional association.
