ResourcesWA is a boutique consulting firm specialising in bridging the technical and financial aspects of mining project development. We are dedicated to delivering strong commercial outcomes for the owners and sponsors of power and mineral projects providing high-quality services that help clients navigate complex challenges, optimise operations, and drive sustainable growth. We operate across the full asset lifecycle - from early concept studies through to existing operations. Senior Consultants at ResourcesWA are given early responsibility, visibility, and accountability working directly with executives, boards, and project owners on real assets, real capital, and real delivery decisions. The role is accountable for turning ambiguity into structured analysis and practical recommendations that support investment and execution decisions. Responsibilities

Support and progressively lead the definition of project scopes, objectives, deliverables, and success measures. Contribute to study work plans, schedules, and budgets, with accountability for defined components. Assist in taking projects from early concept through to execution readiness. Apply structured consulting approaches to assess options, feasibility, operating models, and delivery pathways Undertake market research, benchmarking, and cost analysis to support feasibility and investment decision Build and review financial models, business cases, and value propositions. Prepare clear option analysis and evidence-based recommendations for senior decision makers Support integration of ESG, sustainability, technology, and data considerations where relevant Work directly with senior internal staff, clients, and external advisors. Support the coordination of multi-disciplinary teams across technical, commercial, and advisory inputs Participate in executive-level and board-facing workshops and briefings. Build confidence engaging with senior stakeholders as a developing trusted advisor Support project governance, reporting, and decision frameworks Prepare high-quality reports, presentations, and briefing materials for executive audiences Contribute to the development of ResourcesWA’s advisory tools, templates, and ways of working Requirements

5–10 years’ experience in top-tier consulting, Big 4 advisory, or equivalent. Strong exposure to strategy, commercial analysis, business cases, or transformation programs. Limited direct resources sector experience is acceptable; curiosity and learning capability are essential. Strong analytical and structuring skills. Solid financial and commercial foundations. Comfortable working in ambiguous problem spaces. Willingness to take responsibility and learn quickly.
