We are currently looking for an Optometrist to join our Optical team on a full-time basis (Sunday to Thursday roster). This opportunity will suit an individual who will embrace the challenge of working for a member-based organisation and takes pride in running the practice as if it were their own.

At Optical by National Pharmacies, we offer 30-minute scheduled consults, and you will be responsible for:

Performing eye examinations for a broad range of patient and appointment types

Provide Eyewear and Eyecare solutions for every patient.

Be committed to continued professional development and education.

Recommending lens types based on patient’s lifestyle needs.

Building appointments by getting out in the community and expanding our vision care in retirement villages

Work with the Optical Store Manager and Pharmacy Store Manager to ensure the best service for our members.

You are an APHRA registered Optometrist with a current Australian Optometry membership (or equivalent) who lives by the National Pharmacies values. You have a minimum of 2 years’ experience, who is a commercial thinker, with a strong understanding of the day-to-day operations of an optical practice; or a newly graduated Optometrist looking to apply all of that practice and experience into your everyday life within a fully supported team. You are a professional, customer experience driven team player who has the desire to continually improve and deliver the best results possible.
