About the Role
This position will operate strategically as part of the executive management team and partner with the CEO to support the strategic direction, including diversification and growth opportunities.
As a successful COO, you will also lead our Operations Team (Primary Health Services Management, Disability Programs Management, Clinical Governance, Quality Management).
Responsibilities
Must ensure grant‑funded services are delivered on time, to quality, on budget, and meet or slightly exceed contract volume deliverables.
Is responsible for leading a team to meet strategic objectives as well as contractual obligations.
Must ensure the provision of high‑quality, safe services to patients and clients in compliance with the Clinical Governance Framework.
Seeks to improve health outcomes and the patient journey through continuous improvement.
Is responsible for growing Medicare‑based health care services and NDIS individually funded disability services.
This role will be full‑time based in Osborne Park with travel to other sites as required.
About You
Experience
Relevant professional / tertiary qualifications
At least 3 years’ experience in a Senior Executive role.
Proven skills and experience in
Primary health service management with a record of success in clinical oversight, contract management, and program outcomes.
Service delivery that improves health outcomes and the service delivery experience for patients and clients.
Strong capacity to lead the generation of service growth and/or efficiencies leading to increased community awareness, reach, reduced wait‑times, increased client numbers, and increased consultations.
Demonstrated application of leadership in guiding and facilitating a dedicated, capable middle‑management team.
Skills
Extensive healthcare team leadership skills and capability
Extensive clinical governance knowledge and experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills, preparing board reports and financial statements.
Excellent business software skills
Collaborative and facilitative – collaborating with people to take advantage of their knowledge and ideas to achieve better outcomes.
Excellent problem‑solving abilities, project management and creative resourcefulness.
Team player with experience working within an Executive team, as well as self‑motivated to work independently.
