Summary Two Consultant Psychiatrist roles available: adult rehabilitation inpatient care and child & adolescent mental health across inpatient and community settings.

The Position

Lead multidisciplinary teams, deliver specialist psychiatric care, and contribute to research, teaching, and service development within a well-supported, recovery-focused network.

Two rewarding Consultant Psychiatrist roles are on offer within a leading metropolitan mental health service—each offering a distinct clinical focus and the opportunity to lead meaningful change in a well-supported, multidisciplinary setting.

One position is based in a dedicated Rehabilitation & Recovery inpatient unit, supporting adults with complex, long-term mental illness. You’ll provide specialist psychiatric care across admissions, ECT, consultations, and on-call work, while contributing to research, teaching, and sub-acute or community services.

The second role sits within the Perinatal, Child and Youth Mental Health Service, delivering care across inpatient and community settings. You’ll lead multidisciplinary teams, oversee evidence-based treatment for young people and families, and play an active role in clinical governance, training, and service planning.

Both roles are designed for psychiatrists who value person-centered care, collaborative practice, and the chance to shape service delivery within a progressive and well-resourced mental health network.
