Zanda Speech & OT is expanding our leadership team and seeking a confident, experienced Speech Pathologist to step into a

Team Leader – Assessment, Consulting & Parent Coaching

position based entirely at our Ivanhoe Hub (no travel, no community visits, no driving between clients).

Join us at a pivotal moment as we roll out our new

Key Worker model , expand our

Therapy Assistant Program , and introduce our custom‑built therapy planning and outcome‑tracking software that makes assessment, goal setting and plan reviews streamlined and genuinely enjoyable.

Why This Role Is Different This is not a typical caseload‑heavy clinical role. You will step into a leadership/consulting role with a strong focus on:

Assessment only (approx. two sessions per client)

Developing high‑quality therapy plans using our custom‑designed software

Reviewing & updating therapy plans throughout the year

Parent coaching sessions – via Zoom or at our Ivanhoe hub – helping families understand their child’s needs and confidently implement strategies

Supporting families to identify functional goals, priorities and next steps

Collaborating with our therapy assistants, key workers and speech pathologists

No travel – 100% based at our Ivanhoe hub

Your Leadership Responsibilities You’ll provide high‑level support to the Director and Business Manager, including:

Assisting with placement student coordination

Co‑leading and overseeing the Therapy Assistant team

Supporting and supervising our 2026 Graduate Speech Pathology cohort (4 graduates)

Providing clinical insight, quality assurance and guidance across therapy plans

Helping embed our evolving Key Worker and Therapy Assistant models

Contributing to a collaborative, supportive and well‑organised team culture

You’ll collaborate daily with our speech pathologists at the Ivanhoe hub and also connect with our new multidisciplinary team at the Macleod Allied Health Hub (psychology, physiotherapy, counselling and more).

Who This Role Suits

A paediatric Speech Pathologist with 2+ years of experience in disability/NDIS

Must be a current member of Speech Pathology Australia and have a Medicare provider number

Confident conducting a broad range of paediatric assessments

Skilled at translating family priorities into functional, clear therapy plans

Strong in the use of outcome measures (standardised + functional)

Able to complete assessments efficiently (typically within two sessions)

Looking for a role change – less therapy, more consultation, planning, coaching and leadership

Confident working with families to build capacity and implement strategies

Comfortable producing therapy plans that are easy for clinicians, key workers and therapy assistants to interpret and follow

We provide full training in our custom‑built software, including our outcome measures for long‑term parent goals and short‑term therapy targets.
