Job Description
You’ll move between general practice, inpatient reviews and emergency presentations, providing patient‑centred care and working closely with nurses, allied health and visiting specialists. You’ll liaise with other hospitals when referrals are needed, keep clear and accurate records and contribute to clinical governance through audits, feedback and peer review. Teaching junior doctors and students will be part of your rhythm, along with participating in community health initiatives and supporting improvements to local care processes. You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $451,392 (L24) comprising salary rates between $382,017 (L13) and $451,392 p.a. (L24), motor vehicle allowance, professional development allowance, professional development leave 3.6 weeks p.a., regional attraction allowance, professional indemnity cover and private practice arrangements. Superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) will be applied additionally to the total remuneration value.
