As our newly created role as Finance Director, you will act as the primary conduit between the ANZ business and APAC regional leadership as well as Brand HQ, ensuring alignment of financial strategy, reporting, and commercial priorities.

Responsibilities
Provide strategic financial leadership for the ANZ business, acting as a trusted commercial partner to drive growth, profitability, and cash generation.
Translate financial and market data into commercial recommendations on pricing, trade terms, customer portfolio, product/channel mix, promotions, and market entry/expansion.
Lead customer and channel profitability analysis (net revenue, CM1/CM2) and drive actions to expand margin and share of wallet.
Establish and maintain a robust control environment, safeguard company assets, and ensure full compliance with IFRS/AASB/NZ IFRS and local regulatory requirements.
Establish a performance management rhythm (scorecards, dashboards, commentary) highlighting growth drivers, risks/opportunities, and concrete 'do next' actions.
Improve forecast accuracy, mix and margin analytics, and demand/supply alignment in partnership with Commercial and Operations.
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team; build capability, succession pipelines, and a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Deliver actionable insights and clear direction that influence pricing, customer and channel strategy, investment decisions, and overall business performance in the short and long term.
Support pricing frameworks, discounts, rebates, and trade spend to optimise net revenue and margin by customer, channel, and SKU.
Oversee Australian and New Zealand taxation and statutory compliance (e.g., GST, PAYG/PAYE, FBT, corporate income tax), engaging external advisors as needed.
Act as the primary conduit between the ANZ business and APAC regional leadership as well as Brand HQ, ensuring alignment of financial strategy, reporting, and commercial priorities.
Ideal candidate
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field (required).
Professional qualification CA/CPA/CIMA (strongly preferred).
Commercial Acumen: Proven ability to convert financial insight into pragmatic commercial strategies and results
Strategic & Analytical: Advanced modelling, scenario planning, and decision-support; sharp understanding of margin/mix dynamics.
Influence & Communication: Clear, concise executive storytelling (written and verbal) with the confidence to challenge and inspire senior stakeholders.
Leadership & Coaching: Demonstrated track record developing people and building high-performing, engaged teams.
Digital & Systems: High proficiency with ERP (e.g., SAP or Oracle), consolidation/planning tools, and BI (e.g., Power BI/Tableau); advanced Excel.
Mindset: Growth-oriented, proactive, resilient, and outcomes-focused; acts with integrity and sound judgment.
Change Leadership: Comfortable leading transformation (process, organisation, systems) with strong stakeholder management.
Governance & Compliance: Deep knowledge of IFRS/AASB/NZ IFRS, tax, internal controls, and risk management.
