DWF Risk is a part of the DWF Group, specialising in Work Health and Safety consulting. We are seeking an experienced Work Health & Safety Consultant to support the delivery of high‑quality WHS consulting services to our clients. We have a strong and diverse client list across a range of industries with a good variety of interesting and engaging work.

This role involves a mix of WHS advisory work, investigations, document development, and client engagement. You will work both independently and with colleagues across DWF’s Risk, Legal, and Business Services teams.

Responsibilities

Support DWF Risk to secure work and deliver high‑quality outcomes for clients.

Scope work assignments and define deliverables in line with client needs.

Deliver WHS consulting work, including site audits, inspections, investigations, reporting, and WHS system reviews and development.

Build strong working relationships with clients and act as a trusted advisor to support repeat engagements.

Engage with clients to promote the services offered by DWF Risk.

Participate in business development and client engagement activities such as webinars, seminars, training sessions and presentations.

Develop work plans that align with client scopes and expectations.

Conduct investigations into workplace injury events, workers’ compensation claims, and workplace conduct matters (e.g., bullying, harassment).

Interview injured workers, claimants, witnesses, managers, and other stakeholders as part of investigations.

Facilitate and conduct risk assessment workshops.

Develop WHS documentation such as risk assessments, procedures, policies, and management plans.

Communication & Influence

Work collaboratively with DWF Legal (Workplace, Insurance and other relevant teams).

Engage with DWF Business Development.

Maintain professional communication with clients and individuals involved in work assignments.

Relationship Building

Maintain a strong client focus and deliver work that meets or exceeds expectations.

Demonstrate and uphold DWF’s values.

Identify and develop opportunities for collaboration across the DWF Group and its clients.

Change & Innovation

Identify and implement ways to improve efficiency in delivering work.

Use technology where appropriate to improve outcomes and streamline processes.

Cert 4 WHS AND strong WHS knowledge and industry experience.

Desirable

Diploma / Grad Dip, Bachelor Degree in OHS.

Previous consulting experience.
