The role The Industry Regulation and Consumer Protection Legal Division is responsible for providing legal advice to Departmental clients that is accurate, timely and solution focussed.

In this role you will be involved in conducting complex criminal prosecutions, civil litigation and disciplinary proceedings in all courts and the State Administrative Tribunal on behalf of the Department, statutory office holders and external boards supported by the Department. You will provide high quality, relevant and timely written legal advice on a broad range of complex matters, and prepare a variety of complex legal documents.

This is also a great opportunity to assist with the mentoring and coaching of less experienced members of the team in all aspects of legal practice.

Your experience in developing solutions to complex legal problems will be pivotal to your role.
