Role Purpose
As Business Line Controller and a member of the GET Leadership Team, you are responsible for leading financial performance management, governance, and business decision support. You ensure high‑quality controlling, reporting, and proactive business partnering to drive financial discipline and transparency. Through clear insights, structured planning, and strategic financial guidance, you enable sustainable growth and strengthen the commercial understanding of the business, products, and customers. The role reports functionally to the VP Business Line GET and has a matrix reporting line to the VP Business Management & Controlling ATD.
Key Responsibilities
GET Business Line Controlling
Own GET reporting, consolidation, and performance management
Lead annual, quarterly, and monthly forecasting and planning processes
Ensure financial reporting complies with company policies, group standards, and local legal requirements
Deliver financial insights, market intelligence, and recommendations for strategic business decisions
Develop forecasting models and early‑warning tools to highlight deviations and opportunities
Drive standardization, optimization, and governance of controlling processes
Act as a trusted business partner to GET leadership and management teams
Participating in GET Leadership Team meetings and performance review forums
Support working capital efficiency, including inventory optimization and overdue reduction
Support strategic initiatives including business cases, performance improvement projects, and growth initiatives
Develop commercial understanding of GET products, markets, and customers, and actively prioritize learning where needed to support decision‑making
GET Entity Controlling
Full financial and controlling ownership of GET entities
Strengthen financial governance, controls, and compliance
Support local management in business decision‑making and operational performance
Drive Internal Control Framework implementation and compliance
Ensure clean internal and external audits and follow‑up actions
Build, coach, and develop a high‑performing finance team
Promote financial discipline, risk management, and capital efficiency
Governance, Compliance & Culture
Ensure compliance with local statutory requirements, IFRS, and group policies
Promote ethical business conduct, integrity, and a compliance‑oriented culture
Support finance as a trusted business partner within GET
Contribute to a dynamic, collaborative, and inclusive team culture
Candidate Profile
Required
University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent
>5 years of experience in a Finance Leadership role
Broad experience in controlling, accounting, and finance within multinational organizations
Strong accounting, reporting, and governance competence
Proven experience in business performance management
Strong Finance & Administration process understanding
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365, Infor M3, BPCS)
Commercial mindset and willingness to understand the GET business, products, markets, and customers
Fluent English (written and spoken)
Preferred
MBA, CA/CPA, or other postgraduate finance qualifications
Formal project management training and experience
