ABOUT US

Melbourne Mental Health

is a service complex located in the Inner East providing consultation rooms and administrative services for independent psychiatrists, psychologists and social workers to provide outstanding mental health services in a professional atmosphere of warmth and support. It is psychiatrist-led by Dr Steven Chau (rated #1 on RateMDs accurate as on December 4, 2022). There is current availability for a like-minded psychiatrist who share our strong values and want to provide impeccable patient care.

Team:

There are 12 psychiatrists, 1 mental health GP, 6 psychologists and 1 social worker located at Melbourne Mental Health.

Location:

Prestigious Auburn Road (Hawthorn) provides easy patient access via public transport, ample street parking, nearby parking for clinicians and local shops/cafes.

Environment:

There are 7 spacious consulting rooms over two levels with a comfortable waiting area on both floors. Additional facilities include a large meeting room and kitchen. Curated renovations and furnishings have been designed for exceptional comfort to enhance the therapeutic space.

provide ongoing support, a deep sense of collegiality and help ensure best practices are always maintained.

Hand-picked, long-term team led by an experienced manager to provide exemplary and complete administrative support so you can practice with ease.

Systems:

Full IT infrastructure and medical software suite with remote telehealth access, escripts and support for paperless environment-friendly digitisation.

ABOUT YOU

Ideal clinicians will have a strong desire to provide high quality patient care

A warm, empathic and friendly personality

Belief in the environmental and patient benefits of paperless health technology and openness to utilise these in their clinical work.

Experience in ADHD is highly valued but not mandatory

An understanding of the value of being a part of a cohesive and caring clinical team

Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists

Specialist Registration with AHPRA

Professional indemnity insurance

Reside in Australia

Australian/New Zealand citizenship/residency
