Analyst / Associate – M&A & Equity Capital Markets Advisory

You will be working for one of Perth's most respected independent corporate advisory firms with billions of dollars in executed transactions.
You will advise leading listed & private companies on M&A, and capital raisings.
The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years' experience working on transactions in a global investment bank, highly regarded independent corporate advisory firm, stockbroking or accounting firm (Transaction Services / Financial Analysis / Modelling & Valuations, or M&A Advisory)
Your role
create financial models and analyse financial statements – prepare comprehensive financial analysis (DCF / 3 Way Modelling) on corporate clients and industry trends
develop valuation for complex transactions across a variety of sectors
support the execution of transactions (acquisitions, disposals and other M&A transactions) by coordinating diligence and presentations across multiple stakeholders as well as transaction management
draft transaction marketing materials (e.g. investor presentations, information memorandums and prospectus documents)
assist with equity capital markets advisory
identify problems, generate options and recommend solutions
interact with senior client members in the context of deal execution
proactively map potential targets and clients and develop close relationships with them
Your team
You'll be working with a small, tight knit, highly experienced team in Subiaco, Perth WA. The team executes on a high volume and wide variety of industry specific transactions.
Your expertise
2-5 years prior experience as an investment banking, private equity, or corporate development analyst/associate
a bachelor's degree or equivalent in finance, accounting, business administration, engineering or a related field
exceptionally solid analytical and quantitative skills
strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively, whether presenting to clients or executives
must have Australian work rights
