What you’ll do This is your chance to join Deswik’s Asia Pacific (APAC) consulting team as a Senior Mining Consultant. Reporting to our Perth office, you will be the trusted expert helping customers succeed across Western Australia, APAC and beyond.

Work with Deswik’s highly regarded mine planning software products across multiple customers, commodities, mine types and operations

Support our customers in implementing Deswik’s Enterprise software solutions, providing technical expertise and training solutions across pre-sales, implementation, and post-sales support.

Act as a trusted advisor to customers, identifying needs and architecting effective solutions.

Provide input into software improvements and assist with scoping and testing new features.

Provide extensive consulting services including mine design, production planning, scheduling, optimisation, and mine closure planning

Work alongside highly experienced engineers, geologists and software professionals

What you bring We are looking for an underground mining professional, ideally with exposure to Deswik software. You will have experience in mine planning including design and operational scheduling. Experience in related technical services such as survey or geology would also be highly advantageous.

Degree in Mining Engineering

7+ years’ experience in underground mining in mine planning or mining consultancy roles

Excellent mine planning software skills (Deswik software a distinct advantage)

Demonstrated experience in mine design and planning and in mapping of business processes in relation to on-site technical services department workflows

A flair for consulting and managing customer relationships

Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal

A passion for innovation and a desire to grow and learn

Open to travel to sites across Australia and potentially internationally
