Estate Litigation Lawyer

to join its growing team in Brisbane’s CBD.

This is an excellent opportunity for a litigation lawyer looking to build a long-term career within a specialist practice that offers meaningful work, genuine mentorship, and a supportive, people-first culture.

With a strong pipeline of estate disputes and contentious matters, the role provides hands-on exposure to complex and emotionally nuanced files, including family provision claims, contested wills, and trust disputes. You’ll work closely with an experienced, approachable Director who is committed to client outcomes and the development of their team.

The role Your work will involve advising on a broad range of estate litigation matters, including:

Family provision applications and contested estates;

Disputes concerning the validity and interpretation of wills;

Executor and trustee disputes, including removal applications;

Estate and trust administration disputes;

Assisting with estate administration matters, with some exposure to estate planning work.

Who you’ll be joining You’ll join a close-knit boutique firm, known for its expertise in estate law and its collaborative, supportive culture. The Director is hands-on, approachable, and invested in mentoring lawyers at all stages of their career.

About you This role will suit a lawyer who enjoys estate litigation and is looking to deepen their experience in a specialist practice. Lawyers without specific Estate Litigation experience but who are passionate about this area of law may also be considered.

The ideal candidate will have

A minimum of 1

years’ PAE

(senior lawyers with relevant experience are encouraged to apply);

Essential litigation experience, preferably in estate litigation;

Experience in estate administration, with some exposure to estate planning;

A positive, collaborative approach; and

The ability to manage matters effectively while contributing to a team environment.
