About The Role Our Government Client,

Icon Water , is seeking a

Senior Cyber Security Strategist . This is a

24-month contract role , located in

Mitchell, ACT (North side of Canberra) .

As The Selected Candidate, You Will

Contribute to the enterprise cyber security strategy across IT and OT environments

Develop a prioritised, costed, multi‑year cyber security roadmap including sequencing and governance

Create investment‑ready business cases including benefits analysis, options, costs, risks and delivery approach

Facilitate workshops and collaborate with IT, OT, Program/Project teams, Finance, Privacy and Legal stakeholders

Provide subject‑matter expertise on Microsoft security technologies, SOE uplift, MFA, identity & access management and network security

Support prototyping initiatives and provide technical leadership across architecture and operations

To Be Successful In This Role You Should Have

Demonstrated experience developing enterprise cyber security strategies

Proven experience producing multi-year roadmaps and delivery sequencing plans

Strong capability in business case development and investment justification

Excellent stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills

Knowledge of Microsoft security ecosystem

Experience with SOE uplift, MFA, identity and access management

Strong understanding of network security including segmentation, gateways and monitoring

It Is Desirable If You Have

Experience working across both IT and OT environments

Experience supporting executive and Board level decision-making

Background in large-scale infrastructure or utilities environments

Due to security requirements for this role, candidates must be

Australian citizens .
