We are seeking a technically strong and accountable

Group Financial Accountant

to join Tribune Resources Limited on a permanent, full time basis, based in South Perth.

Working within a small, experienced finance team, you will

take ownership of consolidated reporting

across Tribune Resources and Rand Mining - bringing structure, discipline and clarity to month-end, audit and compliance processes.

About the Role Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role sits at the centre of our reporting discipline. You’ll take ownership of consolidated financial reporting across our entities, ensuring integrity, accuracy and timeliness across everything that leaves the finance function. This includes maintaining clear reporting rhythms, keeping subsidiary balances clean and audit ready, and strengthening the structure around month-end.

This is a hands on role that will:

Prepare and consolidate Group financial accounts across our entities

Deliver monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and supporting schedules

Support budgets, forecasts and Board reporting

Establish and maintain a disciplined, reliable month-end close process

Manage the annual audit process and acting as primary liaison with external auditors

Ensure compliance obligations and subsidiary reporting remain accurate and up to date

Provide guidance, oversight and support to team members across accounting and compliance

Identify where processes can be improved and implement stronger financial controls

This position plays a key role in maintaining accountability within the finance function. It’s about ownership, follow-through and keeping standards high - not just preparing numbers.

In addition, you will have:

Tertiary qualification in finance or accounting and be CA/CPA qualified

Experience in consolidated financial statements across multiple entities is a must

Strong management and financial accounting experience, including disciplined month-end processes and financial reporting

Experience managing audit preparation and statutory reporting requirements

Experience working across subsidiary or related entities

High level working knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards and statutory compliance requirements

Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling capability

A process driven mindset with a focus on improving systems and controls

A genuine, friendly and approachable personality, with a high level of integrity

The ability to work autonomously, take initiative and support others within a small team

To support you to hit the ground running, experience working within an ASX listed company and reporting, the gold/mining/resources sector, or working with overseas entities and external service providers will be highly regarded.
