About RMH And The Team
RMH Mental Health Services provides person-centred, recovery-oriented care through a multidisciplinary workforce of skilled clinicians and Lived and Living Experience (LLE) consumer and carer experts. We deliver specialist community and hospital-based services for adults and older adults experiencing, or at risk of developing, serious mental illness.
About The Role
The Learning & Development Facilitation Lead designs, delivers, and evaluates education that supports safe, person-centred mental health practice across inpatient and community settings. You will lead key areas such as trauma-informed practice, suicide prevention, orientation, and evidence-based care, while mentoring educators and contributing to strategic initiatives.
Reporting to the Director of Allied Health and Learning & Development, you will apply adult learning principles, co-design with consumers and lived experience educators, and use technology-enabled approaches to create inclusive learning, supporting implementation of key mental health frameworks through mentoring and quality improvement.
About You
You are an experienced mental health clinician and educator who is passionate about workforce development and improving consumer outcomes through education. You bring:
Relevant professional qualification in mental health (e.g., Nursing, Allied Health or equivalent) with registration where applicable
Demonstrated experience in education design and facilitation within healthcare or mental health settings
Strong knowledge of trauma-informed, recovery-oriented, and evidence-based practice
Experience mentoring, coaching, or supporting workforce capability development
Excellent stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills
Commitment to culturally safe, inclusive, and person-centred care
