DevOps Release Manager

The DevOps Release Manager plays a key leadership role in the planning and delivery of development, operations, and release to provide and enable the trusted, efficient, and effective implementation of technical change and configuration across the client's Enterprise Portfolio.

Qualifications

Relevant degree in information technology, computer science or equivalent

DevOps certification (desirable)

Experience

Minimum 2 years in a similar role with experience in large scale technological change

Experience with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle

Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines

Experience in working with DevOps and Agile methodologies

Working knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle

Expertise in computer programming

Experience in the use of Application Release Automation tools such as ElectricFlow, Puppet Enterprise, Buildmaster, and Visual Studio Release Management

Knowledge of traditional agile methodologies, including Scrum, Waterfall, or Kanban

Demonstrated understanding of application infrastructure, system architecture, and operating systems.

Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
