The Position This is a hands‑on Head of Finance role, initially offered as a 9‑month contract with the potential for extension.

The role provides senior financial leadership across a multi‑faceted operation. You will balance strategic oversight with day‑to‑day financial control, leading a capable finance team while remaining closely involved in core deliverables.

Key responsibilities include:

Acting as the senior finance lead for the business, providing both strategic and operational financial leadership

Leading, mentoring and developing a high‑performing finance team of 5 direct reports

Overseeing month‑end, quarterly and year‑end reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and insight

Managing budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes across the organisation

Providing commercial analysis, scenario modelling and decision support to senior stakeholders

Driving continuous improvement across financial systems, processes and reporting automation

Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, governance frameworks and internal controls

Partnering closely with operational leaders to support performance, growth and risk management

Acting as a senior escalation point for finance‑related matters across the business

This role suits someone comfortable operating at both altitude and ground level – setting direction while also rolling up their sleeves when required.

This role is moving quickly with interviews expected to commence from the week beginning the 16th of February.

The Candidate Profile You are a senior finance leader who thrives in complex, fast‑moving environments and enjoys building strong relationships across a business.

You will bring:

CA or CPA qualification

Proven experience in senior finance leadership roles

Background in property‑related organisations

Strong people leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams

A hands‑on approach with strong technical accounting and commercial capability

Confidence working with senior stakeholders and influencing decision‑making

Experience working with financial systems and driving process improvement

Most importantly, you are adaptable, commercially minded, and comfortable taking ownership in a role that combines leadership with delivery.
