Associate/Senior Associate Dispute Resolution and Insolvency Lawyer

Associate/Senior Associate Dispute Resolution and Insolvency Lawyer K2 Law is seeking an experienced dispute resolution lawyer to join our dynamic team in Bundall, Queensland. As an Associate or Senior Associate, you will play a pivotal role in providing strategic legal advice and representation to our diverse client base. This full‑time position offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of complex litigation and dispute resolution matters across various industries.

What you’ll be doing

Advising clients on dispute resolution strategies and managing litigation proceedings

Negotiating settlements and representing clients in alternative dispute resolution processes

Collaborating with senior lawyers and partners to develop creative solutions for clients

Providing regular progress updates to clients and managing their expectations

Mentoring and supervising junior lawyers and law clerks within the team

Contributing to the growth and development of the firm's dispute resolution practice

What we’re looking for

Extensive experience (3+ years) in dispute resolution and litigation, either in a private practice or in‑house environment

Demonstrated expertise in various areas of law, including commercial, property, and employment disputes

Excellent legal research, analytical, and problem‑solving skills

Strong negotiation and advocacy skills, with the ability to present complex legal arguments effectively

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor your approach to different audiences

A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
