Anaesthetist

Role As a Consultant Anaesthetist, your clinical responsibilities encompass peri-operative anaesthetic and resuscitation care for in-patients. Start date for this role is April 2026, interviewing today.

Empowering over 3,500 staff and covering an area equivalent to a quarter of Victoria, this hospital boasts more than 650 beds. Annually it treats over 42,000 in‑patients, handles 50,000 emergency cases, and delivers approximately 1,400 babies. Additionally, the hospital houses a 20‑bed intensive care unit, an 80‑bed integrated psychiatry facility, and 11 operating theatres where nearly 13,000 surgical procedures are conducted each year.

FANZCA or nearing completion

Current registration with AHPRA

International Anaesthetists looking to be assessed/have received Substantial Comparability or eligible via the expedited pathway are encouraged to apply.
