Senior Software Engineer, Finplat Bank Rails

Initially built to take the pain out of peer-to-peer payments Cash App has gone from a simple product with a single purpose to a dynamic ecosystem developing unique financial products including Afterpay / Clearpay to provide a better way to send spend invest borrow and save to our 50 million monthly active customers. About the Role Blocks Financial Platform organization is responsible for building systems that power Cash App and Square. The organization owns key financial infrastructure enabling both to operate at scale. Key to the organisations success is the Bank Rails team. The team build and maintain Cash Apps Banking Rails and payment processing systems

You Will

Work closely with engineers in your team and partner teams to problem solve plan design and build solutions

Work on new software and maintain existing software

Work as part of a global team with teammates in Asia USA and Europe

Hold yourself to high engineering standards

Demonstrate ownership - owning solutions end-to-end

Be willing to learn about and drive improvements to the systems we own

Value operational excellence

You Have

4 years of software development or equivalent experience

1 year of experience leading features

The ability own design and build creative solutions to complex problems

A strong desire to perform and grow as an engineer

Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Computer Science Computer Engineering Software Engineering or equivalent experience
