Permanent full-time position (with ADO)

Eastern Palliative Care Ltd (EPC) is a not-for-profit organisation that delivers specialist home-based palliative care to clients and their families living within the Eastern Metropolitan Region of Melbourne. Reporting to the GM of Clinical and Volunteer Services, this new position will lead the operations of our clinical services. Full-time (8 hour day shifts with ADO monthly) Office located in Mitcham. Lead the operations of clinical services and manage the delivery of high-quality, interdisciplinary client-focused services within approved budgets using the principles of value-based health care. Report to the GM of Clinical and Volunteer Services and drive strategic and operational planning for clinical services as part of EPC’s transformation program. Lead and manage clinical staff in a team setting across diverse disciplines; promote quality, occupational health and safety, and risk management. Advocate for innovation in services and support future planning, including adoption of new technologies and telehealth where appropriate. Provide clinical governance and uphold high professional standards within the service. Qualifications

Proven experience as a palliative care nursing leader; APHRA registration as a Registered Nurse Div 1 with current clinical skills. Demonstrated ability to lead clinical staff in a multidisciplinary environment. Commitment to quality, occupational health and safety, and risk management. Experience in clinical governance and managing services within budget using value-based health care principles. Experience delivering via telehealth and supporting staff with technology adoption. Ability to champion change management. High level of competency with common computer applications. A Position Description is available below.
