Highview College

is a growing, co-educational independent Year 7–12 school in Maryborough, Central Victoria, guided by our GRACE values (Growth, Respect, Aspiration, Compassion and Excellence). We are seeking an experienced educator with a strong pastoral focus and a calm, relational approach for the role of Head of Year, commencing Term 2, 2026 (or by negotiation). This is a full-time role combining wellbeing leadership and teaching: 0.5 time release for Head of Year responsibilities, and 0.5 teaching (method areas negotiable). The POR tenure is fixed-term until 31 December 2026, with a substantive ongoing teaching position. In this role, you will: Provide year level wellbeing leadership, supporting safe, restorative and consistent practice Partner with students, families and staff to monitor engagement, behaviour and attendance (heavily utilising our Learning Management System, SEQTA) Coordinate key year level programs, events and parent/carer checkpoints For the full scope of the role, please refer to the Position Description on our Careers page.
