Principal Consultant

The Principal Consultant is a senior advisory role responsible for leading complex asset management projects, managing key client relationships, mentoring project teams, and supporting business growth. This position is critical to expanding the advisory practice and has clear pathways to leadership succession.

Based in either

Perth

(mining-focused) or

Brisbane

(mining or utilities or rail),

Client & Business Development

Build and maintain strong client relationships with major mining operators.

Drive business development opportunities and grow accounts.

Act as a trusted advisor in client‑facing meetings.

Lead multiple asset management projects concurrently.

Develop project schedules, plans, and reports to ensure timely delivery.

Manage cost, risk, and performance trade‑offs during project execution.

Ensure smooth execution and delivery of all projects.

Resolve project issues and bottlenecks.

Select and coordinate resources aligned to project needs.

Mentor and coach project managers, engineers, analysts, and consultants.

Support capability development within the advisory practice.

Experience & Background

Bachelor’s degree in engineering with a focus on Asset Management / Reliability.

Senior consulting experience in asset management, reliability engineering, or related fields.

Engineering background in mining, mechanical, reliability, maintenance, or electrical disciplines.

Ideally a blend of advisory/consultancy and site‑based experience.

Proven project leadership experience managing multiple client engagements.

Experience in business development and account growth.
