Job Overview
We are looking for a
Senior
Access Consultant
to join our growing team across Australia and New Zealand. You believe that access is for everyone and want to future‑proof environments for aging populations while providing accessibility advice that enables immediate access for people with disabilities.
Our projects are varied and located across the country, including large commercial buildings, airports, schools, and transport infrastructure projects. In this role you will have opportunities to develop your career within a supportive and diverse team that includes professionals with national qualifications and lived experience of disability.
Responsibilities
Design and assess documentation/architectural drawings to provide best solutions for access strategies.
Liaise with clients and prepare written reports outlining recommendations for action based on the principles of universal design, the objects of the DDA, and the minimum compliance requirements of the National Construction Code/Building Code of Australia.
Collaborate with clients to help their understanding of accessibility and the difference between compliance and function, and upgrade their access safety measures.
Enjoy site visits to view progression and completion of large projects.
Collaborate with all our service line teams across a wide range of projects.
Work alongside Senior Managers on larger complex projects.
Requirements And Qualifications
Must be an Australian Citizen/Permanent Resident.
Love to collaborate with colleagues, clients and other teams within projects.
Familiar with the construction industry.
Know the Work Health and Safety requirements for office and onsite environments.
Personal drive, results‑oriented with a friendly, can‑do attitude and a high level of honesty, integrity, commitment and responsibility.
