Your Team You will be part of a multi-disciplinary technology team and will work closely with business stakeholders, software vendors, and delivery partners across the organisation.

Your Role As a Security Engineer in the Cyber Security Support and Enablement team, you will support the protection and ongoing improvement of Hollard’s technology environment through hands‑on technical security operations, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.

This role is suited to an experienced security engineer who has strong technical fundamentals and enjoys working across a broad range of security domains, rather than specialising in a single platform. You will help investigate security issues, support remediation activities, and contribute to the ongoing maturity of security controls and operational processes.

Key Responsibilities Investigate and assist in resolving security issues across identity, access, infrastructure, applications, and networks.

Support the remediation of security risks, audit findings, and penetration test recommendations.

Assist with the operation and improvement of security controls across multiple technology platforms.

Perform root‑cause analysis of security incidents and recurring issues.

Contribute to improving the consistency and maturity of security operational processes.

Maintain and update security documentation, SOPs, and operational runbooks.

About You Demonstrated experience in cybersecurity operations, security engineering, or related IT roles.

Experience troubleshooting technical issues in complex environments.

Exposure to security monitoring, incident response, or vulnerability management.

Understanding of identity and access management concepts.

Basic knowledge of network security and endpoint protection principles.

Familiarity with cloud security concepts (Azure or AWS).

Ability to read and interpret security configurations and policies.

Experience working in regulated or enterprise environments is advantageous.
