About the Role St John Ambulance Victoria is seeking an experienced Senior Manager – Business Development who will drive new business opportunities in the events sector in Melbourne and Victoria within our Volunteer & Event Health Services (VEHS) with a focus on community, major events & venues.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Overseeing and guiding the business development & event support team, focusing on revenue generation, cost management and general business deliverables.

Providing managerial support to the team while maintaining an inclusive and respectful workplace.

This role is based at our Notting Hill headquarters.

Ideal Candidate

Extensive experience in sales and/or major account management within a customer service or service delivery environment.

Demonstrated experience managing and nurturing teams, as individuals and as a collective.

Strong commercial acumen, account management, consultative selling, and negotiation skills.

Advanced financial literacy and business acumen.

Excellent customer service and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to recommend improvements to positions or services provided.

Excellent communication & presentation skills.

Full driver’s licence.
