The Role
As the Senior Geologist, you will form part of a dynamic team responsible for the capture and maintenance of geoscientific and commodity information including industry activity by compiling and editing the Mines and Mineral Deposits (MINEDEX) database. You will also generate data for specialty map products on mining industry activity, and provide geoscientific advice within your field of expertise on general matters, Mining Act matters, and for ministerial purposes.
Your research and analytical skills as well as your experience in working with geoscientific databases and Geographical Information Systems (GIS) will be key to your success in this role.
