Department of Transport and Main Roads (QLD) ,

Transport for NSW ,

Main Roads WA ,

Transurban , and leading contractors. This is your chance to influence the future of mobility while mentoring the next generation of engineers.

What You’ll Do

Lead design & delivery of ITS, lighting, signals, and roadside infrastructure.

Oversee electrical & communications engineering with a focus on quality and innovation.

Drive strategic pursuits and partnerships aligned with national priorities.

Mentor a high‑performing team and foster technical excellence.

Represent WSP with industry bodies like ITS Australia & Engineers Australia.

What You’ll Bring

20+ years in electrical & ITS engineering, with consulting expertise.

Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (Electrical preferred).

Chartered accreditation (EA / RPEQ).

Proven leadership in smart motorways, enforcement systems, and road lighting.

Strong knowledge of Australian ITS/electrical standards and design tools.

Strategic mindset, collaborative leadership, and client relationship skills.
