The Opportunity
As Director of Retirement Living & Care, you will oversee the operational and clinical leadership of a retirement village and apartment community, ensuring residents experience a safe, vibrant and supportive environment.
Responsibilities include:
Providing clinical leadership and oversight of resident wellbeing and risk management
Leading operations, planning and service delivery across the communities
Developing strong relationships with residents, families and committees
Building and empowering a positive, high-performing team
Overseeing governance, compliance and safety frameworks
Managing budgets, occupancy and operational outcomes
Enhancing programs that support independence, wellbeing and community connection
About You
We are seeking a leader who is both clinically capable and people-focused.
You will bring:
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Leadership experience within retirement living, community care or aged care
Strong understanding of clinical governance and resident wellbeing frameworks
Demonstrated experience leading teams and managing complex environments
Your leadership style will be defined by:
Energy, positivity and a proactive mindset
High emotional intelligence
Strong organisation and reliability
A genuine passion for supporting older Australians to live well
