General Dentist position available at a highly esteemed private specialist practice in Toowoomba Location:

Toowoomba, QLD

Schedule:

Start 2–3 days/week, building to 4 days — no weekends, no late nights

Remuneration:

Competitive private fees - Commission based remuneration structure

Join our clients' team in Toowoomba and practise relationship-centred, holistic dentistry alongside a loyal, supportive group of clinicians. You’ll work closely with a local highly experienced Dentists and Specialists (Prosthodontists and Paediatric specialists).

Holistic & preventative focus:

Longer appointments, microbiome slides integrated into assessments, and carefully selected specific instruments to support minimally invasive, biocompatible care.

Complex prosthodontics as the mainstay:

Regular exposure to sophisticated restorative cases, with comprehensive plans routinely in the

$10,000–$40,000

range.

Specialist support:

In-house collaboration pathways with a Prosthodontist and Paediatric Specialist (including paediatric cases under GA); TMJ therapy as part of comprehensive care plans.

Established patient flow:

High demand and strong case acceptance; replacement role with a great opportunity to build your own patient base

Balanced roster:

2–3 days to start (flexible on which), scaling to 4 days; no weekends or late nights.

What you’ll do

Deliver comprehensive dental treatments with a

preventative and ethical focus

Communicate clearly to set expectations, obtain informed consent, and treatment plan with staged, ethical treatment proposals.

Build trusted relationships — take time to know patients, their families and hobbies, and maintain excellent chairside rapport.

You’ll bring

Minimum 5+ years’ experience

in general practice; confidence with comprehensive restorative dentistry.

Proven

proficiency and passion for prosthodontics ; comfort managing complex, multi‑phase plans.

Warm, articulate

communication

skills and genuine team mindset.

Openness to

mentorship

and continual upskilling; willingness to be triaged to the right cases and to

shadow

more experienced clinicians when appropriate.

Current

AHPRA

registration and full working rights in Australia.
