Chief Operating Officer (COO) National Mining Engineering Services | Executive Leadership Role

A rapidly growing national mining engineering services company is seeking an experienced and commercially astute Chief Operating Officer to lead multi‑site operations at a pivotal stage of growth. Reporting to the MD, this executive role has end‑to‑end accountability for operational performance across a complex, asset‑intensive business delivering fabrication, maintenance, refurbishment and engineering services to the resources sector.

You will lead national operations with full responsibility for safety, performance and profitability, including:

End‑to‑end leadership of multi‑site manufacturing and engineering services operations

Full operational P&L accountability

Driving safety leadership and WHS governance across critical operating environments

Leading operational integration, transformation and scale‑up initiatives

Optimising production planning, scheduling, throughput, asset utilisation and supply‑chain performance

Partnering with the executive team on forecasting, capital investment and growth strategy

You are a senior operational executive with a strong background in industrial manufacturing, engineering services or resources operations, and will bring:

Proven experience leading complex, multi‑site, asset‑intensive operations

A strong safety‑first leadership record in WHS‑critical environments

Demonstrated success delivering operational improvement and margin growth

Commercial acumen with hands‑on operational leadership capability

Experience holding material operational P&L accountability

Engineering, trade or business qualifications highly regarded
