Senior Tax Manager or Tax Director

to join their leadership team.

This opportunity will suit either an experienced Director seeking greater autonomy, or a Senior Tax Manager ready to step into a Director-level position within a high-quality private client environment.

This is not a compliance-only role. It is a senior leadership position offering genuine influence, client ownership and long-term participation in the future direction of the practice.

The Opportunity You will take responsibility for a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals, family groups and privately owned businesses, providing strategic tax advisory and structuring support.

The firm has an established client base and strong referral networks. Existing client relationships or demonstrated business development capability will be highly regarded.

This role is ideal for a commercially minded tax professional who values autonomy, long-term growth and the ability to shape their own portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

Lead complex tax advisory engagements across private clients and SME groups

Manage and grow a portfolio of high-value client relationships

Provide structuring, tax planning and strategic advisory solutions

Review and oversee compliance work to ensure technical excellence

Contribute to business development and referral network growth

Mentor and develop senior accountants and managers

Partner with leadership on the continued growth of the practice

About You

CA or CPA qualified

10+ years’ experience within professional services

Strong technical expertise across income tax, private client structuring and advisory matters

Demonstrated experience managing client relationships and contributing to growth

Commercial mindset with confidence in client-facing environments

Leadership capability and experience mentoring teams

Established client relationships are welcomed but not essential.
